“Beautifully restored art deco building. Room was a little on the small side but had only booked queen room. It was also a little cool when we arrived, it did warm up eventually, but not the bathroom floor!! Pillows were a great surprise, the bed was comfy for him but a little soft for me. We struggled where to put things as towels, hotel directory etc were all placed on the bed. Easter eggs were a nice touch. Nice body wash products but no colton pad or ear bud pack or robes. Couldn’t get coffee machine to work and found the room scent a little strong. Would like to return when the restaurant is open and a few more peeps around.”
“My wife and I had dinner at tattersalls hotel restaurant last Thursday evening; food was excellent, and the same with the service. And the prices are reasonable, especially for the quality. We can highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Came for a quick dinner here. Honestly, couldn't fault anything about the experience. Just absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic and attentive, and the Art Deco surroundings make it feel lux. Highly recommend”
“What an amazing renovation. Credit to the owners for their investment. A wonderful hotel. Lovely welcoming staff. I do hope the investment pays off.”
“It’s my first time in Armidale for a business trip, and I asked three beef experts “Who makes the best steak in town?” and they all said Tattersalls. I took their advice and had dinner there last night, choosing the rump cap picanha for $39 with a side of mash for $11. The steak was wonderfully cooked and well-seasoned, served with blue cheese butter and jus. It was an amazing dinner and definitely one of the best steaks I’ve had! Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff! The atmosphere was great, as the hotel was recently renovated. The art deco style really takes you back. Our waitress Cassie was also a gem, letting us know about the specials for the evening and did an amazing job to look after us. A+ for the meal and another A+ for Cassie.”
“Went to the restaurant for a dinner with friends. Seems very well run. Atmosphere was great. Service was top notch. I ordered a Strip steak - rare because every other place I've eaten at recently has overcooked my medium. To my surprise the steak was the most perfect rare I've seen. The steak itself was fantastic and very tender. The mushroom sauce was delicious as well. Well priced and generous portions. Overall, very impressed.”
